Project Management is a profession which is both a science and an art, and it follows a systematic process. A formal definition is “the application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements”.
Projects abound in every sector of the economy and are of different sizes and levels of complexity which require proven and effective methodologies for their management and successful execution. In our present operating and financial environment, it may be considered superfluous to engage the services of a Project Manager and that decision may be right or wrong depending on the nature, complexity, skill set required and what the assessed level of risk is.

ü Have a measureable positive impact on the cost, time and quality elements of a Project
ü Remain objective and pro-active with regard to identifying, assessing and analyzing risks and possible impacts to the Project
ü Have excellent people and management skills
ü Are accountable
